Valmet has been awarded a Gold Medal in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment. The achievement places the company among the top 5% of more than 150,000 companies that have been assessed worldwide.
EcoVadis evaluates companies across four categories including environment, labor/human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Its score was 82/100, six points higher than in 2024 and brings the company even closer to its goal of achieving the Platinum Medal.
Valmet participates in selected third-party sustainability ratings to help its stakeholders assess its sustainability performance. The performance in sustainability has received recognition from external parties including the CDP environmental disclosure scoring and MSCI ESG Ratings.
