Valmet Delivers Analytical Solutions to Dow’s Path2Zero Project

Valmet has received an order from Dow to supply turnkey process analytical solutions for its Path2Zero (P2Z) project.

Located at its Fort Saskatchewan site in Alberta, Canada, the project aims to create one of the first net-zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions integrated ethylene cracker and derivatives complex. The solutions are based on Valmet MAXUM II Gas Chromatographs and aims to optimize plant efficiency and safety. The order also includes third third-party analyzers, sample systems, analyzer shelters, and engineering design and execution.

Engineering deliverables are in progress with system deliveries occurring in 2027 and 2028. The value of the orders has not been disclosed.
