Val-Matic acquires new facility

Val-Matic has bought a 60,000sq.ft building in Addison, IL. This will be their second facility and will provide them 177,000sq.ft of manufacturing and office space in all. The new facility will be utilised for their largest valves and new industrial Trunnion Ball and Triple Offset Butterfly Valves. It will also be utilised for the Engineering Research and Development personnel and the Engineering Laboratory and Flow Loop. The facility has seven cranes ranging in size from 2t to 10t. A new 20t crane will be added and put in service this August to handle two 96” 250B Butterfly valves. The planned opening for all large valves is scheduled to start in October 2013 and is expected to be completed by the end of January 2014.
