TMS eases stagnation in portable water tanks

Potable water tanks or reservoirs often depend on a typical common inlet/outlet to maintain drinking water quality. This system often proves inadequate when water outside the common inlet/outlet area of influence becomes stagnant, creating dead spots where bacteria are likely to multiply.

Tideflex Mixing System (TMS) from Tideflex Technologies improves the quality of drinking water in finished water storage reservoirs. The TMS is a combination of patented Tideflex Check Valve technology and a piping manifold that separates the inlet and outlet. The TMS can be installed in new or existing water storage tanks of all shapes and sizes to eliminate stagnation and short-circuiting. The TMS operates on the differential pressure in place, and keeps energy costs low. The all-elastomer construction of the Tideflex Check Valve renders the system virtually maintenance-free.
