The R9 Isolation Liquid Valve

Parker Hannifin Corporation has released its R9 Diaphragm Rocker Isolation Liquid Valve, a family of 9 mm valves that improves performance of Clinical Diagnostic, Analytical Chemistry and Agent Detection systems requiring precision fluid control.
At just 9 mm wide it can be easily mounted over microplates eliminating transfer lines, which can improve performance and save space. This compact valve offers the flow typical of a 16 mm valve in a 9 mm width. When mounted on a manifold the R9’s ultra-small footprint enables smaller and more efficient fluidic circuits by taking less space and shortening fluid channels. This valve also has low carryover and low internal volume with good particulate resistance.
R9 valves are capable of a variety of flow and pressure ratings up to 100 psi (6.9 bar) supporting the use of smaller fluid passageways. This enables higher pressures thereby reducing fluid consumption and increasing throughput.
