Woodside has awarded Technip a wide-ranging subsea contract for a project offshore, in water depths ranging from 340-850 m (1,115-2,789 ft). This covers project management, design, engineering, procurement, installation and pre-commissioning (EPIC) of: Carbon steel production flowline, carbon steel water injection flowline, flexible risers and flowlines with a total length of 82.2 km (51.1 mi), 38.9 km (24.2 mi) of dynamic and static umbilicals, subsea structures and valves, and transport and installation of a multi-phase pump system.
Repsol Sinopec Resources has awarded Technip a frame agreement covering inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) works on subsea infrastructure. The company will provide diving support and IRM services for 2016, with a possible extension to include 2017 and 2018. The agreement covers provision of diving equipment, underwater intervention and engineering services; onshore management and engineering support, and provision of ancillary personnel and equipment; diver/ROV inspection, maintenance, repair, construction and decommissioning. Technip’s operating center is managing the project, which will employ diving support vessels from the group’s fleet.
