Indiana-based Technifab Products Inc. has designed a new valve to complement its Techflow Valve Series: the TV-4500-GM. The 4” cryogenic shut off valve is applicable for both 3” iron pipe size (IPS) and 4” IPS vacuum jacketed pipe systems, and is compatible with all cryogens, including liquid nitrogen (LN2), liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquid oxygen (LOX).
The TV-4500-GM offers 20 times less cryogen loss compared to non-vacuum jacketed valves, which lowers operating costs. It also features a self-aligning, PCTFE seat designed for a tight, solid closure, and wear parts can be replaced easily.
