Teadit, a leading provider of gaskets and sealing solutions, recently hosted an exclusive Gasket Course and Open House event at its Geismar service center, welcoming industry professionals and community members for a day filled with networking, education, and entertainment.
The event, held on March 21, 2024, provided attendees with a unique opportunity to explore Teadit’s service center, learn about the company’s innovative sealing solutions, and connect with experts in the field. From facility tours to live music and delectable food and drinks, the Open House offered something for everyone.
Teadit’s Geismar service center was opened to provide local support for the industry, ensuring quick response times for maintenance and repairs. The streamlined availability of products due to this location leads to reduced disruptions, increased productivity, and cost savings for Teadit customers. The service center boasts extensive manufacturing capabilities, including double jackets, sheet material with raw materials such as Inconel and Stainless Steel, and camprofile gaskets. It can also manufacture heat exchanger and pipe flange style gaskets, rings, ovals, and other shapes with varying radii.
Additionally, the center stocks a wide range of materials such as spiral wound gaskets in various sizes and pressure classes, standard size corrugated metal gaskets, joint sealant, tapes, PTFE sheet (including virgin, Tealon, and ePTFE), as well as a diverse selection of metals including superalloys.
Highlights of the event included tours, where participants could take a behind-the-scenes look at Teadit’s advanced manufacturing processes and witness firsthand how the company’s team of experts’ design, manufacture, and deliver high-quality sealing solutions to customers in Geismar and local areas.
Teadit also extended a special invitation to end users from the local area to attend its Gasket Course, providing attendees with a comprehensive overview of proper gasket installation and bolted flange joint assembly to create a reliable seal in operation. This educational session was well-received and provided valuable insights for participants.
Per request of the local industrial community, additional courses on gasket tightening and sealing solutions will be provided at the Teadit Geismar location. For more information about the next course please contact Lindsay Jackson at: lindsayj@teadit.com.
Teadit would like to express gratitude to all attendees, partners, and staff who played a role in making the Gasket Course and Open House event a memorable and successful occasion.
