Wood has secured a new multi-million dollar contract with Evolution Midstream to provide civil and mechanical construction services for the Jewell gas plant in the South Powder River Basin of central Wyoming.

Denbury Resources Inc. has entered into an agreement to sell its Bakken assets in North Dakota and Montana to Exxon Mobil Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary XTO Energy Inc.

Black Hills Corp. said that its subsidiaries Black Hills Power and Cheyenne Light, Fuel & Power received approval from the Wyoming Public Service Commission to construct and operate a USD 237M, 132MW natural gas-fired power plant in Wyoming. The Cheyenne Prairie Generating Station will use a 37MW simple-cycle combustion turbine owned by Cheyenne Light and a 95MW combined-cycle combustion turbine to be jointly owned by Black Hills Power and Cheyenne Light.

BP has agreed to sell its interests in the Jonah and Pinedale upstream operations in Wyoming to LINN Energy, LLC.

    After installing new facilities at its Defender US33 2-29H well in the Hawk Springs project in Goshen County, Wyoming, Samson Oil & Gas has successfully produced oil.
