Two new plenaries have been added to the second morning of Valve World Americas on Thursday July 16th. At 8:30am Dr. M. Sam Mannan, Regents Professor and Director, Holder of T. Michael O’Connor Chair I, Mary O’Connor Process Safety Center, Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering, Texas A&M University System, will speak on the Role of Effective Valve Selection and Operation for Improved Safety Performance.

The Hands-on Valve Packing Installation Seminar will be held on Wednesday, July 15th from 3:00pm to 4:00pm and presented by Vance St. Jean - Senior Stationary Equipment Specialist for AW Chesterton and moderated by Rodney Roth - Manager Strategic Accounts – Stationary Equipment for AW Chesterton.

At the Valve World Americas 2013 show, exhibitor staff were often working flat out helping visitors. So busy were these knowledgeable ladies and gentlemen that the Online Team felt a little awkward in requesting lengthy interviews.
