Anadarko Petroleum Corporation has given Technip instructions to begin the engineering, construction and transport of a 23,000-ton Truss Spar hull for their Heidelberg field development located in the U.S.

Technip has been awarded a lump sum contract for the development of subsea infrastructure for the Cardamom field located in the Gulf of Mexico, Garden Banks block 427.

The Dow Chemical Company has awarded Technip with a front-end engineering and design (FEED) contract and cracking furnaces engineering and procurement services for a large world-scale ethylene production plant to be located at Dow Texas Operations in Freeport, Texas.

The Shaw Group Inc. announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell substantially all of its Energy & Chemicals business to Technip. Under the terms of the agreement, Technip will acquire substantially all of the business of the Energy & Chemicals Group for approximately USD 300 million in cash consideration, subject to adjustment based on the Energy & Chemicals Group’s debt and working capital levels at closing. Shaw will retain Energy & Chemicals Group personnel in its Baton Rouge office, which will be integrated into the company’s Plant Services Division, as well as Shaw Consulting International Inc., which will be incorporated into Shaw’s Environmental & Infrastructure Group.

   Anadarko Petroleum Corporation awarded a lump sum contract to Technip for the development of the Lucius Field.

Technip has been awarded a lump sum contract for the Petrocarabobo upgrader, that will include the basic, front-end engineering design and the first phase of project management consultancy services.

Technip has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary DUCO Inc. has been awarded two contracts, by Shell Offshore Inc., for the Cardamom and West Boreas field developments, located in the Gulf of Mexico.

Within the framework of a cooperation partnership with Haldor Topsoe, Technip has been awarded a contract for providing basic and front end engineering services on a Petrobras grassroots fertilizer complex to be located in Minas State, Brazil.

Canadian Natural Resources Limited has awarded Technip an engineering, procurement and construction support services contract, worth approximately EUR 100 million for the Horizon project in Fort Mc Murray, Canada.
