It has been announced that Enbridge Inc. will build, own and operate a crude oil pipeline in the Gulf of Mexico (GOM) to connect the planned Stampede development, operated by Hess Corporation, to an existing third-party pipeline system.

Kinder Morgan expanding KMCC system in Texas
Kinder Morgan Energy Partners will invest approximately $54 million to build an interconnect and other facilities for its Kinder Morgan Crude and Condensate (KMCC) pipeline after entering into a long-term transportation agreement with Republic Midstream Marketing, LLC.
Republic will build a gathering pipeline from Lavaca County, Texas to the new Interconnection at KMP’s DeWitt Station, near Cuero, Texas.
TWD carries out gas valve upgrade project in GoM
Pipeline services specialist T.D. Williamson (TDW) executed a gas valve upgrade project on a deepwater gas export pipeline offshore New Orleans in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) for a major operator. Working in a strategic partnership with the operator, TDW provides pipeline pressure isolation services under the terms of a global pipeline isolation and intervention services contract entered into in 2012.
Wood Group Mustang hires new manager for Pipeline

Enbridge pipeline to operate in Oct.
Enbridge has announced that in October, The Seaway Twin will be filled with Canadian oil sands crude from its new 600,000 barrel-per-day (bpd) Flanagan South Pipeline. The crude will be brought to North America’s largest refining complex on the US Gulf Coast.
Canadian operator relocates natural gas pipeline
One of Canada’s largest pipeline companies was mandated to relocate a pipeline in an environmentally and politically sensitive area on a tight timetable.
The section that required relocation is part of the major 30” natural gas corridor that traverses west to east across Canada, delivering energy to one-third of the nation’s population.
