Hunt Valve, a US specialty valve engineering and manufacturing company, recently completed their acquisition of Pima Valve.Pima Valve supplies severe-duty bronze marine valves, and a large variety of special bronze and alloy steel products that meet specific performance requirements for U.S., Canadian and NATO-friendly Navy ships and commercial marine applications.“We are proud to support Hunt Valve’s growth both organically and through acquisitions of high-performing businesses such as MB Valve and now Pima Valve,” said Stephen Griesemer, Partner at May River Capital.

JA Moody, a distributor of valves and actuators with its headquarters in Malvern, Pennsylvania, has announced that its parent company has completed the acquisition of Pima Valve.

Pima Valve is one of the leading suppliers of the recently revised 250-class U.S. Navy gate valves. Called the Revision K, this valve incorporates dramatic machining and material modifications from previous models.
