ValvTechnologies has named Ricky Ford as the Upstream Oil and Gas Industry Director, announced company president Kevin Hunt. Based in Houston, Ford will have global management responsibility for ValvTechnologies’ upstream oil and gas group and activities worldwide as well as long-term vision strategies for development and growth in the upstream severe service market.

The leading global manufacturer of custom fabricated butterfly valves and dampers today announced that Ms. Margaret Hatala has been named as the company’s new president. This is part of a seamless transition that will see current owner and President, David Hatala, promoted to the position of Chairman.

Flowserve Corporation, a provider of flow control products and services for the global infrastructure markets, announced that Karyn F. Ovelmen will join Flowserve as executive vice president and CFO, effective June 1, 2015.

It has been announced that Mr. Matt Menard has joined the sales team of Westbrook and Flanges, Inc. His responsibilities will include working with outside sales and dealing with customer relations. Menard joins the company with a well-rounded knowledge from his previous service at Powell Valves and Hackney Ladish.

Flowserve Corporation, a leading provider of flow control products and services, has named Ms. Karyn F. Ovelmen Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Her appointment will begin on June 1, 2015.

Mr. L. Heath Sampson has been named as Advanced Emissions Solutions’ new President and CEO. He will be replacing Mr. Michael D. Durham who will be retiring from the company at the end of April, but will help to ensure a smooth transition before then.

Circor Energy has named Erik Wiik as its new group president. Wiik was previously at Aker Solutions for 24 years, where he managed groups of businesses delivering advanced subsea technology to the global oil and gas industry.

The global water technology company, Xylem, has announced that today Steven Leung will join the company as Senior Vice President and President, Emerging Markets. His position will become effective April 1, 2015.

Kevin Hunt, president of ValvTechnologies, the manufacturer of zero-leakage severe service isolation valve solutions, announced the appointment of Elvis Gonzalez as the director of Manufacturing Operations.

Cryofab Inc., manufacturer of cryogenic dewars and vessels, and owner of Cryocomp Valves, has named Michael Capers as Managing Director for the new cryogenic valves business unit. Mr. Capers, formerly employed by Scientific Instruments (SI) Inc.
