A new TÜV certificate has confirmed that Pennsylvania-based AUMA’s electric actuators have passed demanding corrosion protection tests and meet the requirements of EN ISO 12944-6 for corrosivity categories C5-M long (marine, coastal and offshore areas) and C5-I long (industrial areas with high humidity and aggressive atmospheres).

Pennsylvania-based electric actuator manufacturer AUMA has opened a Sales and Service Centre in Dubai to help strengthen its presence in the Gulf Region.

The largest gearbox of AUMA’s new GHT multi-turn gearbox range can transmit up to 120,000 Nm to an industrial valve. While AUMA’s SA multi-turn actuators provide a maximum torque of 32,000 Nm, the torque range is virtually quadrupled when combining SA actuators with the new GHT gearboxes.

AUMA will present its comprehensive range of multi-turn, part-turn, linear and lever actuators plus gearboxes at IFAT. A range of options for manual actuator operation will be promoted.
