MEDOR® Exp for use in hazardous environments
Chromatotec®, with operations in the United States, has proposed a version of its MEDOR® analyser in Exp cabinet for hazardous areas. This solution dedicated for monitoring and online analysis of sulfurs and odorous compounds in natural gas has now received the European directive for controlling explosive atmospheres (ATEX)-certification for zone 1.
Hydraulic proportional valves debuted
Parker Hannifin debuted its new range of ATEX approved directly operated hydraulic proportional valves designed for use in Zone 1 areas at Offshore Europe in September. Featuring explosion proof solenoids, the D1FB*EE is available with the option of spool/sleeve design for precision or spool/body design for high nominal flow characteristics and has extremely low levels of hysteresis.
ATEX rated explosion-proof linear actuators
Exlar’s linear actuators meet ATEX requirements for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The line has been expanded to include the EL100 explosion-proof linear actuators, rated for Class I, Div 1, Groups B, C, D and T3 hazardous environments.
