ASCO, a US manufacturer of comprehensive fluid automation solutions, including valve technology, has introduced ASCO Numatics Integrated Automation Solutions - customized assemblies of electrical and pneumatic components designed to meet specific customer needs.

Whittier, California-based Valvate Associates, the leading authorized ASCO valve distributor in the western United States, recently added two more brands to their product lines: AVCO (Alloy Valves and Controls) and Blue Ribbon Corporation.

ASCO Numatics, a business unit of Emerson, located in Florham Park, New Jersey, has announced that it will begin doing business as ASCO. ASCO’s fluid control and pneumatic product lines include a full range of solenoid valves, angle body piston valves, valve manifolds, cylinders, filters, regulators, lubricators and a complete range of accessories.

ASCO Numatics has introduced its 16mm ASCO 068 Series flapper isolation solenoid valve, the first in its class with technology that offers greater throughput, smaller sample sizes and reduced calibration requirements for clinical and analytical instruments.

ASCO Numatics introduced its ASCO 364 Series spool valve for control panel applications in the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry. The new valve combines compact construction with low-power options that feature higher operating pressures and temperature ratings than competitive models.

Asco’s new 0.55 low-power solenoid pilot valves provide a perfect solution to automation with low power consumption. Because the valve uses only 0.55 watt, more devices can be installed on a process plant bus network or they can be used in remote locations with solar/battery sources.
