Collins Pipe & Supply Co., industrial distributors of pipe, valves and fittings (PVF), and engineered specialties serving the Northeast, announced that they have successfully finalized an agreement for the acquisition of the assets and staff of Power House Supply.

It has been announced that Pure Technologies Ltd., through its subsidiary, Pure Holding, will acquire Wachs Valve and Hydrant Services (Wachs Water). The Illinois-based Wachs Water provides flow control maintenance and support, leak detection and related asset management service to the water sector in the US.

It has been announced that Emerson has acquired Cascade Technologies, a manufacturer of gas analyzers and monitoring systems using Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) technology based out of Stirling, Scotland.

The oil castor services company, Wood Group, has acquired Sunstone Projects, a pipeline consulting company based in Calgary, Canada.

Plaintree Systems is a diverse company with proprietary technology and manufacturing capabilities in structural design, aerospace and telecommunications. The company’s product line of specialty structures includes the former Triodetic Group, a designer and builder of aluminum and stainless steel structures.

Southcross Energy Partners acquired natural gas pipelines near Corpus Christi, Texas, along with contracts related to those pipelines.

Jacobs Engineering has acquired Houston-based Eagleton Engineering. The acquisition will further enhance Jacob’s capabilities in their midstream/upstream pipeline engineering, design and field surveying services.Since 1965, Eagleton Engineering has specialized in pipeline engineering, providing professional services, along with resources, to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.

It has been announced that Jacobs Engineering Group, the provider of technical, professional and construction services, has acquired some assets of MARMAC Field Services, a privately held company that provides engineering and design services to the Western US regions.   With the acquisition, Jacobs will be able to expand geographically by going into more areas in the Western US and increase its capabilities by working more in the utility and gas industries.

It was recently announced that Jacobs, a global provider of technical, professional and constructions services, will acquire an interest in Guimar Engenharia, a privately held engineering and project management company based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.   The terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed, but it has been noted that the acquisition is a staged investment and that each stage will be subject to certain closing conditions. This will be Jacobs’ first major investment in Brazil and will enhance its ability to serve key clients investing in the country, thus expanding its South American operations.

Denbury Resources Inc. has announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire producing property interests in the Cedar Creek Anticline (CCA) of Montana and North Dakota from a wholly-owned subsidiary of ConocoPhillips for $1.05 billion cash.
