Watson-Marlow acquires Flow Smart
Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group (WMFTG), which includes Aspeco valves, has acquired the business and assets of Flow Smart Inc., through its parent company Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc.
Flow Smart is a natural extension of the Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group fluid path product portfolio and further strengthens WMFTG's global presence in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, which already includes Aspeco aseptic valves, Watson-Marlow Pumps, Watson-Marlow Tubing, Flexicon Filling Systems, BioPure single-use tubing connector systems and Alitea OEM Pumps.
Snow Phipps acquires Kele valve distributor
Antares Capital and American Capital have arranged for USD $170 million in financing to support the acquisition of Kele Inc. by Snow Phipps Group LLC. Kele is a distributor of peripheral control products, including control valves, used in industrial and commercial building automation systems.

Trimble has acquired privately held Telog Instruments Inc. (Telog), based in Victor, New York. Telog is a wireless water infrastructure monitoring and management company. The acquisition extends Trimble’s smart water strategy by adding advanced water management technology and productivity solutions to the company’s portfolio.
