SNC-Lavalin wins engineering contract in Colombia

Ecopetrol has awarded the EPC company SNC-Lavalin with a contract for conceptual, basic and detailed engineering for high and medium complexity projects up to 2020. The scope of the contract with SNC-Lavalin will be spread across the full spectrum of Ecopetrol’s business areas.
Marino Barbi, General Manager of SNC-Lavalin’s Oil & Gas sector in Latin America, has commented that, “This contract with Ecopetrol is another positive step towards our goal to increase our market share in Latin America. We see growth potential in the region through downstream and midstream engineering, procurement and construction projects, and this contract gives us a great opportunity to work across multiple stages of the oil and gas supply chain with Colombia’s national oil company for the next three years.”
