Sealweld opens valve care training facility

Sealweld Corporation recently launched a “state-of-the-art” training facility for ValvePro, the company’s training program. Located in Houston, the campus is designed to train all levels of technicians, from new hires to senior technicians.

The new facility was opened in support of ValvePro, Sealweld’s existing certificate program delivered together with the University of Texas (PETEX), which has been used to educate thousands of valve technicians in both North America and globally. ValvePro provides hands-on instruction on almost every single type of valve found in O&G operations, including pipelines, off-shore, on-shore, oil sands, refineries and gas plants, fully pressurized in a classroom setting. Through real field environment simulations and instruction from longtime field technician instructors, students receive valuable and practical knowledge.
