Samson unveils enhanced valve and positioner packa

Control valve specialist Samson Controls has introduced enhanced versions of two of its established products: the Type 3291 valve and the Type 3730-6 positioner.

The Type 3291 valve is suitable for use in severe operating conditions, such as those found in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries. It is designed to be easy to service as it can be disassembled and assembled using standard tools.

The Type 3730-6 positioner enables partial stroke testing (PST), which provides information on whether shut-off valves function properly on demand and can be started by hand or automatically.
