PPE valve seals pass TOTAL GS for oil & gas

Precision Polymer Engineering (PPE), a manufacturers of molded elastomer valve seals with American operations in San Jose, California, and Houston, Texas, recently announced that its EnDura® A90H and Perlast® G92E elastomers are the latest materials to pass approval to meet a major industry specification, TOTAL General Specification (GS) PVV 142. By meeting this specification, PPE now offers a full range of TOTAL approved sealing materials that meet stringent industry regulations within the oil and gas industry.

Known to be one of the most aggressive test regimes for rapid gas decompression (RGD), the TOTAL General Specification represents performance levels beyond common RGD rated materials. Both materials, EnDura® A90H and Perlast® G92E, have advanced capabilities to withstand high temperatures and high pressure environments, and provide superior chemical resistance.
