PowerSecure International, Inc. was awarded a contract to build electrical transmission infrastructure to support a series of new oil and gas production sites by a major energy company in partnership with a prominent electric utility. The increase in oil and gas exploration and production driven by new low-cost technologies has created an immediate need for new electrical infrastructure to support these operations.

The contract is valued at several million dollars of electrical transmission design and construction. The majority of the project is expected to be completed by the middle of this year.
