PJ Valves Secures Multiple FPSO Contracts

PJ Valves (PJV), a specialist manufacturer and supplier of valves for the global energy industry, has been awarded three FPSO valve contracts for projects in Brazil, Mexico and Nigeria. The valves for all projects will be manufactured in PJV’s factory in Italy – all deliveries are expected to be completed in 2019.

In Brazil, PJV will manufacture and supply valves to a project located in the Santos Basin. The company will deliver a range of globe and check valves supplied in carbon stainless-steel, duplex and Inconel clad material. The valves will vary in sizes with the maximum being 18 inches in diameter to API 15000 in pressure class to support the topside processing requirements of the vessel.

PJV has been contracted to supply a package of ball, double block and bleed valves and check valves to support topsides in Nigeria. In this case, PJV worked closely with the customer on raw material pre-ordering requirements to meet project specifications and short lead times.

Thirdly, PJV will deliver high pressure check valves to support the high-pressure requirements of a project in Mexico.

The company was awarded the projects for the standard of its design and manufacturing capabilities and its ability to deliver valves within short lead times. PJV’s strong relationships within the supply chain and experience in providing valves to more than 30 FPSO projects to date were also contributing factors.
