Plant Integrity Management (PIM), with clients including Canadian Natural, Nexen, BP Global and Chevron, is expecting a 16% increase in the uptake of its PIM Relief software by the end of Q1 2016.
The Pressure Safety Valve (PSV) workflow cycle management software was first released in May 2013 and has so far been implemented on 55 assets across the North Sea and Middle East.
The software centralises the management of PSVs, from the testing and recording of overhaul results, through to the certification of risk-based inspection analysis. It is currently being used to manage around 6,000 PSVs, and PIM is expecting uptake to increase by 8% by the end of 2015, and by a further 8% by the end of Q1 2016.
According to Steven Plant, Managing Director of PIM: “…companies are more focused than ever on reducing costs while increasing efficiencies and maintaining the effective and safe running of their assets. PIM Relief is a paperless system which introduces numerous efficiencies to the management of PSVs making it an even more attractive proposition to potential clients.”
