Pentair optimizes network reliability with DCM2

Pentair, with various branches in North and South America, have introduced their new Biffi Diagnostic Communications Master 2 (DCM2), a valve control solution that optimizes network reliability and speed for enhanced safety for plant operations around the world. A component of a plant’s automation system, it delivers smart flow control for process valves where remote position monitoring is critical to employee and environmental safety.

An enhancement to the original diagnostic communications master, the DCM2 is an intelligent solution that makes connectivity simple while also delivering performance optimization, predictive analytics and life cycle management. A benefit of the DCM2 to customers is improved safety for the entire operation through comprehensive monitoring and control of up to 300 actuators through a multi-loop network.

The DCM2 is suited for chemical, petrochemical, offshore (for remote conditions monitoring) and tank farms (for storage by refining and processing customers).
