The SureBeam Corporation has signed an in-line system electronic pasteurisation services agreement with Excel Corporation, a leading producer of beef and pork, to engineer, manufacture, and instal electronic pasteurisation systems for two of Excel’s processing facilities, located in Schuyler, Nebraska, and Plainview, Texas.
Similar to a microwave oven, the SureBeam electronic pasteurisation system uses ordinary electricity as its energy source to pasteurise food after it has been processed and packaged. SureBeam will incorporate and install its technology directly into Excel’s existing meat processing facilities.
