Parker new SR1R valve for industrial refrigeration

The Industrial Refrigeration Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation, a leader in motion and control technologies with global headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, has launched its new Reduced Capacity Safety Relief Valve, the SR1R, for the industrial refrigeration market. The SR1R is designed to offer the lowest flow capacity of any safety relief available in the industrial refrigeration market. This low flow capacity allows for economical relief piping to be used with the SR1R on applications such as oil pots.

With a flow capacity of 4.5 lbs./min of air at 150 psi set pressure (7.2 lbs./min of air at 250 psi set pressure) the SR1R is the lowest capacity relief valve in the industry. This reduced capacity makes the SR1R ideal for applications involving small vessels such as oil pots and surge drums.

The SR1R is based on Parker’s SR series of safety relief valves. This design provides dependable operation in even the most demanding applications. All products in the SR series feature stainless steel internal components and non-stick PTFE seals. These features ensure that the SR1R is able to provide safety and reliability for industrial refrigeration applications.
