Oliver Achieves Gold Standard Qualification for Hydrogen Ball Valves

Five new hydrogen ball valves from Oliver Hydcovalves have successfully qualified for the company’s internal Gold Standard. This extends the valves’ capabilities – and the company’s product range – for use in hydrogen, carbon capture, and low-emission applications.

As a result of the qualification, the valves align with ISO 15848-1 standards for fugitive emissions and mechanical endurance. The newly qualified extensions cover both 14 mm and 20 mm bore sizes and have stem seal configurations to meet demanding pressure and temperature conditions.

For instance, pressure ratings range from 6,000 psi to 10,000 psi while temperature range extends from -16C to +150C.
