The company, which appointed five partners in 2010/11, has a total of 50 organisations supporting its variable speed actuators around the world. In Brazil, CIMATEL has joined the SIPOS team as the new representative for the region.

Strategically the appointment is significant for SIPOS as the country has the fastest growing economy and the latest partner for the actuator manufacturer has strong connections with the Brazilian automation industry.

The largest SIPOS project to date undertaken by CIMATEL is supply of SIWI nuclear actuators to the Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Angra 3, backed by an established performance record over a number of decades providing automation technology for NPP Angra 2.
