New repair developed by Bay Valve Service

Bay Valve Service, a Seattle-based provider of engineered flow solutions, has developed an alternative to costly automatic recirculation (ARC) valve replacements that are frequently required in aging power generation facilities. ARC valves were seen as a great solution for maintaining the minimum flow levels required to keep critical pumps at a safe operating point on their performance curve.

As the ARC valves wear and tear over time, Bay Valve Service’s solution aims to provide greater operational flexibility without requiring major piping modifications. The company has been working hand in hand with a 550MW plant to implement an engineered solution that addresses repeated failures. Bay Valve Service is ready to apply this patent-pending solution across the US in all power generation facilities.
