Mueller Co. has expanded its line of outside screw and yoke (OS&Y) resilient wedge valves. It now covers a range from 2-1/2in through 24in sizes. The new 18, 20 and 24in size valves are UL Listed and feature forged bronze stems for superior strength, plus all the other standard features of Mueller’s resilient wedge valves. These features include 100% elastomer encapsulated wedges with no voids for superior corrosion resistance, bearings on wedge guides for smooth and easy operation even when mounted horizontally, 10-mil fusion-bonded powder epoxy coating inside and out, 175 psig working pressure rating tested hydrostatically at 500 psig, 10 year limited warranty, NSF 61 certified, and more.
