New 100 PSIG pressure relief valves

Iowa-based A.Y. McDonald, a leading manufacturer of plumbing valves, high pressure gas valves, waterworks brass, pumps and water systems, and meter bars, has announced the addition of 100 PSIG (pounds per square inch gage) pressure relief valves to their line of relief valves in 3/4″, 1″ and 1 ¼”.

The line currently includes pressure relief valves factory set ½” through 2” valves to open at 30 PSI (pounds per square inch), 1/2” through 1” valves set to open at 75 PSIG and 1-1/4” through 2” valves set to open at 65 PSIG.

The new 100 PSIG pressure relief valve is designed to prevent the tank from bursting in the event f the pressure switch sticking and causing the pump to develop pressure.
