NAPW honors Laura Parker, VP Global Valve

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) recently honored Laura Parker as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in the oil and gas industry. NAPW is the nation’s leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting 850,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Parker’s professional title is VP Business Development at Global Valve & Controls (GVC), which is an API6D Q1 monogram licensed ball, gate, globe and check valve manufacturer, headquartered in Houston, Texas. GVC caters to the midstream oil and gas industry, as well as NASA and the US Navy.

Along with a successful career with GVC, Parker has created and founded Breeson Social Butterfly Organization, which serves as the umbrella to advocate the empowerment of women and children.
