Moog Inc. introduced the new D926 Series Proportional Valve. Following the 2021 release of the D936 Servo-Proportional Valve, this direct-operated, analog valve adds to a comprehensive portfolio of flow control valves to offer customers a wide range of choices based on needed features and price points. For over seventy years, Moog has consistently delivered state-of-the-art technology and engineering innovations that offer optimal reliability and performance.
The D926 Series Valves are driven by two proportional solenoids with a spool-in-body design for high rated flows up to 8.5 gpm at 5 bar pressure drop per land. The valve features next generation electronics for optimized energy efficiency while delivering high static and dynamic control performance. The valves are suitable for electrohydraulic control of position, speed, pressure, and force in open and closed-loop control systems. Customers will benefit from multiple standard features, such as a 4/3-way design with multiple spool overlap options, including a center failsafe position, electronics on the solenoid for a reduced envelope size and added vibration resistance.
“For equipment manufacturers and end users looking for a long-service life proportional valve at a competitive price, our new D926 Series is an attractive choice to consider,” said Dr. Marco Wiegandt, Valve Development Manager for Moog. “With a wide variety of configurable options available, these valves are the ideal drop-in replacement on a variety of machines.”
