Metso, a world leading industrial company serving the mining, aggregates, recycling, oil, gas, pulp, paper and process industries, will be taking part in Flow Control Exchange India 2019 and will lead off with a seminar: “Applying IIoT methods to valves in process plants”.
The event will take place October 3-4, 2019 at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre Goregaon (East) in Mumbai, India.
Metso’s application expert, Ramakrishna Koti, will go over how reliability, production, and quality can all be improved with smart device data. The topics include:
– the benefits of secure IIoT, without the need for significant investment in additional hardware and sensors;
– introduction to basic assessment tools, used to understand the performance of valves in attendee plants;
– practical case studies to show benefits achieved in modern process plants.
Metso’s portfolio meets a wide scope of customer needs in flow control. A range of valves, actuators, limit switches and pneumatics were included in Metso’s existing offering that expanded to cater to new industries and applications.
