MAN Diesel and Turbo (MAN), with various branches in North and South America, along with their local partners OHI, are setting up a state-of-the-art ‘Rotating Equipment Workshop’ in Rusyal, Oman.
This workshop will be the centre of competence for ‘high speed balancing’ and will be a one-stop shop for all rotating machinery including high-voltage motor. The plan is to include ‘valve’ repair facility at a later stage. It will also accommodate a training centre to cater to the needs of young Omani Engineers which will eventually result in knowledge transfer.
