Larsen & Toubro (L&T), which has a US office located in Houston, Texas, has announced that it has supplied high integrity pressure protection system (HIPPS) to Dirok Gas Field Development Project in Assam.
L&T Valves, a part of L&T, has supplied the HIPPS to the Dirok project, which is promoted by a consortium of Hindustan Oil Exploration Company (HOEC), Oil India (OIL), and Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL), a statement said. HIPPS is a safety instrumented system (SIS) designed to protect oil and gas production, refining and pipeline systems against over-pressurisation.
