The Ladish Fusion Power Ball Valve is engineered with a “fusion” of the best of high-pressure valve sealing technology for high energy isolation type applications such as steam, condensate, and hydrocarbons. This valve has a single controllable leak path of the integral seat while providing thermal matching of the ball and seat to achieve reliable and long-lasting shut off.
This design is built standard with oven-fused carbide coating for many times the bond strength of more traditional HVOF-type coatings while eliminating porosity that can allow leakage. Precision grinding is followed by 360-degree lapping of the ball and seat to prevent “ridges” in the coating and improve sealing reliability. Each two-piece valve (TA Series) is built with a “captured flange” – a repairable design for tight shut-off. Our split-body is designed for SW, BW & HUB-End preparation without the need for welding or modification, while our uni-body (TZ Series) is designed for SW preparation.
