Measuring instrument specialist Krohne has opened a new flow and level instrument manufacturing and calibration facility in Beverly, Massachusetts (MA).
Krohne has stated that the opening of the new facility represents its long-term commitment to manufacturing in the United States. The new facility will produce a range of new flow and level products, as well as existing models. It will also serve as Krohne’s main distribution hub to North American markets for all other products. As well as the manufacturing centre, Berkley will also be home to administration, sales, service and marketing, and a new training centre.
According to a statement from Krohne, the new production building will be interconnected to a new, two story office building, tripling the floor space compared to the company’s existing facility in Peabody, MA. Production and distribution operations will be transferred to the new location.
