Knife gate valves for versatility

Knife gate valve has a simple and compact structure and is made of lightweight materials, which helps it to solve the common valve problems such as the weight, flow resistance, space issues, and installation problems. They can be used to replace common shut-off valves, and can work at pressures of 1.0MPa–2.5MPa at working temperatures from -29℃–550℃ under normal circumstances.

Based on the transmission, knife gate valve can be divided as manual (hand wheel, manual zipper), worm gear (spur gear, bevel gear), pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, etc. Knife gate valves are controlled using manual control, pneumatic control, solenoid control or analogue remote computer control.

Knife gate valve can enhance the sealing surface of the gate. They can scrape the adhesive material of the sealing surface, and automatically remove debris. The stainless steel gate prevents seal leakage due to corrosion. The stainless steel body strong and durable, and can be made out of 304,316,316 L, WCB, 2Crl3 steels. The seal is made of PTFE material to improve corrosion resistance and wear-resistance.

Its compact design, small footprint, light weight, inexpensiveness, ease of installation, anti-blocking measures to improve wear resistance, ease of maintenance, ease of use and long life have made the knife gate valve a popular option.
