Kim Forgues Named Vice-President, Human Resources

Wolseley Canada Inc. (Wolseley) announced the appointment of Kim Forgues to the position of Vice-President, Human Resources. In her new role, Forgues will be accountable for providing strategic HR leadership to Wolseley Canada’s leadership and HR teams. Forgues joins the Executive Management Team and will report to Kevin Fancey, President, Wolseley Canada. She will also be responsible for the overall engagement and performance management of Wolseley Canada employees, and as a member of the Executive Management Team, will be involved in the execution of the company’s business strategy.

“Our Executive Management Team is looking forward to the contributions Kim will be able to make at Wolseley Canada,” said Fancey. “Kim’s broad HR leadership experience with global organizations will enable her to help us to achieve our strategic priorities.” 

Forgues has over 20 years’ experience as a senior HR executive in global organizations with extensive experience in the retail and industrial sectors. Most recently, Forgues was a partner and head of the HR practice with Odgers Berndtson. Throughout her career, she has been responsible for managing national and international HR teams across Canada, the U.S., Europe and Asia. Her key areas of expertise include: assessment, talent management, leadership development, coaching, organizational design, total rewards, labour relations, project management and process re-engineering, as well as the design and implementation of operating models. 

Prior to her time with Odgers Berndtson, Forgues held HR leadership roles with D+ H (purchased by Finastra), Home Depot Canada, CIBC, Bombardier Aerospace and Pratt & Whitney Canada.
Forgues has a Master of Science degree in Industrial Relations/Human Resources from  l’Universite de Montreal and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Relations from McGill University. She also has a Master’s Certificate as a Certified Executive Coach from Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC.
