Jacobs opens new office in Nevada

Jacobs Engineering Group announced the opening of its Elko, Nevada office, which strategically enhances the company’s ability to provide professional services, including engineering, construction and maintenance services, to new and existing clients in Nevada. Jacobs’ new Elko location expands its offering to strategic client operations in Nevada as part of the company’s continuing development of its mining and minerals business. Services include project planning, studies, engineering, procurement, construction, construction management, operations, decommissioning and closure, and mine infrastructure requirements.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Steve Axcell stated, “Expanding our presence in Nevada enables us to more closely partner with local clients to understand their businesses and objectives on a deeper level over the long term. Our local capability is enhanced by our global mining experience across some of the world’s most technically challenging projects.”
