Hydraulic Institute presents Pumps 101

Pump Summit Americas has partnered with the Hydraulic Institute to bring you: “Pumps 101: Understanding Centrifugal & Positive Displacement Pumps; Best Practices in Reliability & Maintenance Processes”. The half-day pumps course is ideal for young engineers, non-technical personnel, as well as purchasing, maintenance, and operational management. It will take place on Monday, June 13th, 2016 from 1:30pm – 6:00pm at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

Pumps 101 will be taught by William C. Livoti from WEG Electric and take place during Pump Summit Americas conference & exhibition. The course will cover: pump components, basic engineering concepts, major pump groups and technologies, best practices in reliability methods, pump maintenance management practices, and advantages of centrifugal and positive displacements.
