Hunt Valve releases descale valves

Ohio-based Hunt Valve, a fluid power engineering company specializing in severe-duty valves and components, has released descale valves, designed to deliver reliable, continuous production with the least amount of downtime at rolling mills. Hunt Valve provides valves and other components to nuclear, hydro and downstream oil and gas applications.

Hunt Valve’s proportional poppet valve for descaling applications is created to last longer than their traditional poppet valves. Eliminating the effects of water hammer and system shock, this new valve promotes safety, reduces annual operating costs and decreases unscheduled downtime in the plant.
Proportional poppet valve technology is ideal for all descale applications, including isolation, minimum flow pump bypass, descale header control, accumulator safety shut-off and header pre-fill.
