Honeywell Technology Adopted to Optimize Production at LNG Terminal in Mexico

Honeywell Technology and Automation to Optimize Production at AMIGO LNG Export Terminal in Mexico

Honeywell’s modular LNG pretreatment technology and Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS) will be adopted at AMIGO LNG S.A. de C.V.’s export terminal in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico.

The project is a joint venture of Texas-based Epcilon LNG LLC and Singapore-based LNG Alliance Pte Ltd. It aims to optimize production and advance energy development to support global energy security and emission reduction efforts.

The technology will help ensure that LNG exported from the new facility meets industry standards while enabling faster installation. By removing impurities from natural gas prior to the liquefaction process, it can extend equipment life and prevent unexpected downtime. The modular offering also reduces construction-related risks and increases speed to market.
