Hantemp introduces new stainless gauge valve

Hantemp Controls, a manufacturer of stainless steel controls for industrial refrigeration, has introduced the new SGV gauge valve. The SGV features rugged stainless steel construction and is ideal for isolation of pressure gauges and transducers.

The valve has been designed to overcome existing gauge valve shortcomings which include vulnerability to corrosion and no back seat for stem seal replacement. Advantages also include wrench flats for easier installation, an easily removable seal cap, and ¼” NPT connections. The SGV is available with a standard extended body or compact body (SGVC) for a wider range of applications, including pump-out and venting of system components. Approved refrigerants include ammonia and C02, halocarbons and secondary refrigerants.
