Forbes Marshall new steam systems facility

Forbes Marshall, manufacturers of steam engineering and control instrumentation solutions, including valves, with branches in North and South America, recently inaugurated a new manufacturing campus at MIDC Chakan, under the Mega Project Scheme of the Government of Maharashtra. The campus is spread over 50 acres.

Forbes Marshall’s complete range of steam products and systems will be made at the new Chakan factory, including check valves and piston valves, steam operated pump traps, automatic pressure powered condensate pumps, pressure reducing station, de-aerators, including steam traps, pipeline ancillaries like strainers and custom built hot water solutions and heat recovery packages.

At present, phase I and phase II are complete, with a total built up area of 48,000 square meters. The campus has many factories which meets their long term expansion plans, as Forbes Marshall had outgrown its two manufacturing locations at Kasarwadi and MIDC Pimpri. The company can now progressively concentrate manufacturing activity covering all businesses at one site.
