Fluor Named One of America’s Safest Companies

Fluor Corp announced today that it has been honored by EHS Today magazine as one of America’s Safety Companies for 2011. The list recognizes 12 firms representing a diverse range of industries. It is the second time that Fluor has received this award from EHS Today. According to EHS Today, qualifying companies must demonstrate a number of factors, including: support from management and employee involvement, innovative solutions to safety challenges, and effective training programs. Fluor’s comprehensive ZERO Incidents Program was highlighted as a distinguishing feature of its commitment to safety excellence. The program consists of 12 high-impact, injury reduction techniques with a goal of achieving a zero incidents rate.
